1:00 pm** American Legion Toy & Tool Sale Christmas Auction at the community center in Strasburg. All items are NEW! Auction items include Craftsman tools, toys, metal signs, food items, figurines, baskets, wind spinners, china cabinets, yard ornaments, pie safes, bikes, trikes, ceramic dolls, lanterns, and much more. This is the perfect time to do your Christmas Shopping! A concession stand sponsored by the American Legion Auxiliary Unit #289 will be available.
November 9th
4:30 - 7:30 pm** The Shelbyville Fire Dept Ladies Aux will hold their annual Soup Supper on Saturday, November 9th from 4:30-7:30 @ the Fire Station @ 110 N Heinlein Drive All You Can Eat Chili, Vegetable, Potato or Chicken Noodle Soup, A hot dog or Peanut Butter Sandwich, a dessert and a drink. 217-774-3433

6:00 - 11 am** 7th Annual Santa Brigade and Breakfast in Strasburg at St. Paul's Lutheran Church Social Hall and Gym. Breakfast is 6-11am and Christmas Market is 7-11am. Pancakes and Smoked Rope Sausage.

8 am - 2 pm** Windsor Methodist Church Bazaar. There will be crafts, kountry kitchen items, baked goods. A lunch will start at 11 am and will have chili, vegetable, cheese soups and oyster stew, sandwiches, desserts, drinks. 217-459-2232

10 am - 3 pm** Windsor Post Prom committee is hosting a Holiday Bazaar at the High School. There will be craft and direct sales vendors. Still have space for more vendors. Cost for that is $25 plus a raffle item. Windsor There will be a daycare provided. A Silent Auction. **Shelbyville Festival of Lights in Forest Park
November 22nd
5:00 pm-??** Annual Soup Supper at the Senior Center in Forest Park. Cost is $5 for adults. kids 12 & under FREE. Menu includes chicken noodles and potato cheese soups, chili, pulled pork, desserts, and drinks. Supper ends when pots go dry.
November 23rd
8:30 am - 1 pm** Holiday in Herrick-some stores may have some slightly different hours. Over 25 vendors at community bldg. Santa, drawings.
8 am - 1 pm** Holiday Happenings Bazaar at First Christian Church in Shelbyville. (202 S Broadway) Breakfast begins at 8 am and will be pancakes and sausage, biscuits & gravy, fried potatoes, & cinnamon rolls. Lunch will begin at 11 am and will feature soups, sandwiches, & desserts. The booths will open at 8 am. There will be holiday crafts, gift items, baked goods, homemade candies, pecans, and other goodies, as well as their famous homemade noodles for purchase. There will also be a cookie walk with a variety of homemade cookies. Call 217-774-2667 for more info.
November 28th
Noon** Community Thanksgiving Dinner at First United Methodist Church in Shelbyville. For reservations, call 217-774-4131. Carryout and delivery is available in city limits.
November 30th
10:00 am - 2:00 pm** Christmas on Main in Moweaqua.(Candy Cane Wonderland) Stores will have specials, arts, crafts, etc throughout. Pancake breakfast hosted by the Boy Scouts at the American Legion begins at 6 am. Santa arrives at 10 am and the 5k run/walk kicks off. Registration for the run is 9-930 and the cost is $25. Over 25 vendors will be set up in vaious bldgs around the village. Throughout the day there will be a live nativity and caroloers downtown. On the corners of Main and Main there will be performances by the Central A & M band, the Raiderettes, and Angie's Dance Studio. At 1 pm there will be a HOliday Doggy contest. There will also be a silent auction featuring donated wreaths which ends at 1:30. Other activities include cookies and a craft with Santa, Kiddie train rides, horse drawn "sleigh" rides, and entertainment.

10 am - 3 pm** 6th Annual Old Fashion Downtown Christmas. Downtown Businesses will be open. 9 am there will be personalized ornaments for the 1st 25 kids at My Little Bird. 10:30 am get a pic taken with your animal at Three Tails, A FREE Movie at the Roxy at 10 am. There will be a Kids Korner at Studio 1 Twenty 3, Santa and Mrs Claus will also be at Studio 1 Twenty 3 along with Frosty. There will be wagon rides from 11:30am-2:30 pm starting from the mini park 11:30am-3pm is a kids corner with a selfie station, crafts Elf food station, and story time at 2 pm. 11:45 the SHS Choir will perform. 11:30 am there will abe fishing at Craig's Sporting Goods, come in and win a prize. 11:45 am there will be a performance by Dance Life Studio at the Mini Park, followed by games and refreshments at Flourishes Art Gallery. 7:00 pm** 56th Annual Christmas Cantata at Grace Lutheran Church in Strasburg. Choirs from Grace Lutheran, St. Paul's Lutheran in Sigel and Strasburg, and Trinity Lutheran will combine to entertain you.

3:30 - 7:00 pm??** Christmas in Stew-ville at Stewardson Community Center. A painting fundraiser will start at 3:30, (must register by Nov 25th, cost $40 for lg wooden Christmas cutout. Pictures with the Grinch from 4:30-6 pm an dthere will be a Free Make and take children's craft. The soup supper will start at 4:30 and end??. Free will donation for soup supper. They will also be taking donations for kids in foster care in central Illinois. All proceeds go to support the park project.

Liberty Unit #289 of the American Legion Auxiliary’s Christmas Store has evolved into an Annual Cookie Walk with Christmas goodies for everyone’s Christmas pleasure. Items include homemade noodles, homemade cookies and candies, plus Rada cutlery. Shoppers select the cookies and candies they want and put in a box. Box is then weighed with price at $5 per pound.

Profits from the Christmas Store will be used by the Auxiliary for community projects and items for veterans.
